Day SeventySeven of being Aflickionless...

Maz had the day off Seeker today, after dying last night it just a case of waiting for a call back. Which she got this afternoon, they want to do another scene with her dead. Ummm Russell went and signed up to Fresh Talent today, they might cast him as a Canadian for some up coming show...and then we went into Ginger Minx to say howdy.

Leaving a dog tied up until the chain grew into its neck has cost a Rotorua woman $1180. Hinengaro Enoka was fined in Rotorua District Court after admitting she failed to provide for the needs of her sharpei, Missy, the Daily Post newspaper reported. The SPCA found a new home for Missy, but Enoka avoided a ban on owning pets and her family had acquired a new dog which was being treated better, her lawyer said.

Aftershocks are still rocking Fiordland, after the massive 7.8 quake two weeks ago. Two quakes measuring 5 or more on the Richter scale have struck this morning. The first was a quake measuring 5.1 on the Richter scale which had a focal depth of 12km and struck 110km west of Tuatapere this morning at 7.59.

The man shot by police in Auckland on Monday was charged with two offences at a court bedside hearing in Auckland City Hospital last night. Actor Robert Mokaraka, 36, was shot in the chest after allegedly threatening police with what they said appeared to be a firearm, outside a house in Pt Chevalier. A police statement last night said charges of possession of an offensive weapon and assault with a weapon were laid during the Auckland District Court hearing in the hospital. Mokaraka was remanded on bail to appear in court on August 19.

The Ginger Minx indoor waterfall. No they don't have a new feature...the louvers have been boarded up and well it rained and it wasn't known that they were wide open due to an eletricial fault...so we had rain inside. Fail!!!
