now there is a reason behind knowing about Freeland, PEREZ! But anywho apparently Black Eyed Peas have stolen a sample of the song "Mancry" by Freeland. According to reports, B.E.P. member and producer Will.I.Am was at an event last year where Freeland performed this song in question. The B.E.P "version" is called "Party All The Time" and is to be on their new album The E.N.D. We will have to see what happens.

Let's see...Maz was up at the crack of dawn (it wasn't even dawn, it was still dark outside) to watch the Michael Jackson Memorial on TV, and she was surprised that it wasn't the circus that she was expecting it would be. It was like a normal funeral service, but with a few thousand more people. Beautifully done.
Maz has finished all of her designing now (both NZ Body Art and Style Pasifika are down). This afternoon she went and picked up the fabric needed (SPOTLIGHT)...one of the fabrics was $26.99 per meter, Maz is rather shocked that she paid it and all up spent close to $80 on fabric for what is basicially a skirt. While in Spotlight though Maz found these things called Face Paint Sticks...and began to think. They are basicially like a crayon but paint. Could possibly make life a lot easier and very interesting. Bring on the competition!!!

Nine Wellington bus drivers have been sacked for allegedly stealing thousands of dollars in fares, but they won't face charges if they repay the money, bus company Go Wellington says. The drivers were fired over the past three months for stealing at least $20,000 between May and June, the Dominion Post reported.

More New Zealanders are cutting their spending because of the recession but the dollars they do spend are going on food, fashion and fun, a survey shows.

The cost of living in Auckland is cheap compared with major cities measured in a global survey. Out of the 143 cities measured by consultancy firm Mercer, Auckland placed 138th, down from 78th in 2008. Mercer's 2009 Worldwide Cost of Living survey compares the cost of housing, transport, food and other goods, and is used an indicator for compensation for companies who send their employees abroad.
