Day FourtyNine of being Aflickionless...

In ten days to go till you hit the halfway point. Does it seem to be going fast? I would write out the "How many days till Haydn gets back song", BUT I am saving it till tomorrow...you will see when we get to tomorrow...haha!

Some exciting things in the works at the moment in Maz's world. Some to do with photography, some to do with videos...fun times!Spartacus isn't happening tomorrow, it's been moved to Monday.
Singing bitches, wonder the possibility of Maz actually doing karaoke one night. Maz is did a UV doodle on one of Tina's daughters tonight (photo below) she thinks she is the shiz nizzle now. They (the girls) have a school disco happening. Funny thing is that it's a Black & White disco and this was organised before Michael Jackson kicked the bucket.

Popular swimming spots in lakes and rivers have high levels of bacteria that cause diarrhoea or infection, a new report shows. Of 300 popular swimming spots tested regularly by councils over the past two summers, just 58 per cent were suitable for swimming almost all of the time. The rest had too much faecal matter in the water at least 5 per cent of the time - and one spot never met the guidelines for safe swimming.

Temperatures were well below average during June, the National Institute of Water and Atmospheric Research (Niwa) climate summary says. Extremely low temperatures were recorded in the Waikato, Taumarunui, Taupo, southern Hawke's Bay, Central Otago, the Kaikoura Coast, and some alpine areas of the South Island. All other areas experienced below average temperatures and the national average temperature of 7.5degC was 0.7degC below the long-term average for June.

Two men are in custody after an armed offenders squad seized 15 guns from a house south of Tauranga today. (The headline said "Mass weapons haul founf in Tauranga house" thought it would be more than 15 guns...geez)

A Nelson man has been arrested after allegedly setting off fireworks around sleeping huts at an air force base near Nelson. The incident happened about 9pm yesterday at Dip Flat where the Royal New Zealand Air Force were completing an exercise, police said.

A woman who went overseas to meet her long-lost father is now on trial accused of incest. The man is also on trial, but denies being her biological father. The pair allegedly had a sexual relationship for more than 10 years. They met when she was almost 30 and he was in his late 40s, living in Britain.

The auction on TradeMe to win Dinner with Tariana Turia & Brendon Pongia has closed. The winning bid was $2,530.00. The proceeds will go toward helping three Wellington-based brothers, who are outstanding sports players in both basketball and rugby, whose family are finding it extremely difficult to meet their high sporting expenses.

DAILY FOF MOMENT
JayJay dropped 6 packs of Robitussin cough mixture on the ground at work today. Two bottles smashed and the other four packets have to be written off because they got drenched in it and are ruined. FAIL!

And a water pipe burst at Maz's place, meant they were without water for a few hours. FAIL!
