The jury on the David Bain case has found him not guilty. The jury reached their verdict after five hours and 50 minutes of deliberations.
Bain, 37, faced a retrial for the murders of his parents and three siblings at their Dunedin home on June 20, 1994, after the Privy Council in 2007 quashed his 1995 convictions for their deaths. (but you already knew that)

Auckland sports personality Matthew Ridge was injured this morning after a car reportedly pinned him to a wall at his car grooming business. Ridge's injuries were believed to include a fractured hip and pelvis, TV3 reported. A late model BMW did not have its handbreak on and rolled into him at his business in the suburb of Greenlane about 10am, his staff said.

New Zealand's confirmed cases of swine flu have risen again this week, with the 12th case a person who arrived from Los Angeles at the end of May.

Cadbury's has been accused of reducing the weight of its chocolate bars while keeping the price. The company admits the weight has been reduced, but says it has also reduced the price to retailers. If that price drop hasn't been passed on to the consumer, the blame lies with the retailers.

DAILY FOF MOMENT
Firstly the chick who didn't like Dee's help/suggestion on set to hike her dress up while going up the stairs, to A) stop herself standing on it...B) stop herself falling over it....or C) tearing and loosing the dress. And proceeded to walk up the stairs fummbling, standing and tripping on the dress the whole way up. FAIL...when will a bitch learn to listen?
Secondly...running out of gas on the way back to Dee's from set. But hey at least we were up hill from the gas station & didn't have to call somebody to bring gas (so close to his house though...sad)...FAIL!
