Day FourtyFive of being Aflickionless...

Who's a lucky, lucky person, seeing 6 acts front and centre?

Last night was National Anthems @ 324. Nick Collings set was wall banging awesome, but Joe Johnson had glasses vibrating off tables (Joe did a 3 hour set, because Sam Hill pulled out). Both were wicked, wicked sets anyway...although I thought Voyager was heaps better.
Currently waiting for JayJay to edit her photos (Corey is going to teach her how to), once they are up I will post a few here.

If you expect everything to be or turn into a drama then it will, but if you just let things be then it will just be.
That's the theory, but it's amazing how people just enjoy turning things into drama's when they don't have to be.

Maz just sent Russell to the supermarket for Chocolate Primo, Cornflakes and milk...it's almost 4pm. Hang overish much? Last night Maz also (FINALLY) got "Woody Woodpecker"...she's gone far to long without hearing it.
Also Maz did her weekly media radio research survey today and is horrofied that "Day and Night" is still on the list (it's been on it for months now), but she is pleased to report that Little Boots "New In Town" is now on the list. YAY!

Miss Cadaver has started a blog to, shits and giggles naturally. Check it out!

Lotto first division was won last night by two tickets, bought at Brookfield New World in Tauranga and City Mart in Hamilton. Each takes away half a million dollars. Lotto Powerball jackpots to an estimated five million dollar prize next weekend.

The West Coast was shaken by two earthquakes this morning. The quakes, in the Lord Howe Rise region about 100km northwest of Ross, both happened at 6.32am. The first, at a magnitude of 5.0, struck at a depth of 12km, and the second, a 4.8 magnitude, at a depth of 90km.

Teens ages as young as 16 are being declared insolvent as the number of people succumbing to debt balloons. A 16-year-old, three 17-year-olds and 16 18-year-olds were among the 810 people under 25 declared insolvent in the 2009 financial year - more than double the 2005 figure.
Insolvencies, which include bankruptcy and two new alternatives, shot up by 77 per cent overall, from 2986 in the year ending June 30, 2005, to 5292 so far this year.

The NZ Herald coverage of Glastonbury. You were there (I see what you mean by the valley of tents). Thought you would find it interesting to see what they said about it. Read here.

When they worked together and argued together, TVNZ's power couple just emerged stronger. But when their work schedules separated them, the distance proved insurmountable. Simon Dallow has now moved out of the Remuera home he shared with wife Alison Mau and their two children, friends told the Herald on Sunday. But yesterday he picked up son Joel, 8. There had been signs of trouble as long as 10 years ago, yet this week's announcement that Dallow and Mau were separating after 19 years of marriage surprised even some of their closest friends. (slow news day huh?)

CURRENT WEIRDNESS
JayJay is cooking potatoe bake and hasn't burnt down the house yet.

DAILY FOF MOMENT
At JayJay's place they have a big 4L bottle that they make juice in. Mark had brought the raro in 3 sachets so it needs four of them to make a bottle full, so JayJay pulled one off another set of three and it ripped open spilling raro all over the floor. She thought to herself "fuck! I wont do that again but I will tell maz for the fof".
So she cut the next one off fine, and the next one she was shaking the powder to the bottom so that she could rip the top off and the fucken thing ripped apart spraying raro all over the floor again! JayJay was extra careful with the fourth one, which went fine. Now she is walking raro through the house coz she's too lazy to clean it up and its all over her socks. FAIL!
