Day EightyNine of being Aflickionless...

Maz went to spotlight today and spent about $126 on stuff for Style Pasifika. It was such a magpie shopping experience, we were looking for shiney...haha.
Then she went to a 1, 2, 3 dollar store and spend $25 on disco balls. It is fair to say it has been a bit of a pricey day.

Maz & Russell went to visit Dee as well and while hanging out Maz proceeded to destroy the disco balls.

Currently Maz is blasting out her ears to drown out the babies upstairs. Not at all impressed that her space has been invaded, even if it is up stairs that noise travels man. Super glad she is moving soon, don't have to put up with people with babies!

Scientists are examining whether toxic sea slugs may have killed two dogs which died on beaches on Auckland's North Shore. Tests on one of the dogs at Nelson's Cawthron Institute showed it died because it ate something toxic, TV3 reported. It said the scientists were still trying to find out what the toxic substance was, but suspected sea slugs which are known to feed on toxic algae could be responsible. Four toxic sea slugs had been found washed up on Narrow Neck beach, where one of the dogs died, the report said.

Minty is on the run again. The Capuchin monkey, from Willowbank Wildlife Reserve on the outskirts of Christchurch, has escaped again and has been on the loose for four days. Christchurch police described her as a "little brown monkey". Minty last tasted freedom a year ago when she took to the streets of Christchurch during a trip to the vet. After three days on the run, climb and scramble, Minty was safely recaptured and returned to her reserve.
